Political leaders and dignitaries will remember Madeleine Albright on Wednesday. Albright, who was the nation’s first woman to serve as secretary of state, will be celebrated in a funeral service at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. EDT. Ahead of the funeral, the PBS NewsHour’s Nicole Ellis will host a series of conversations starting at 10 a.m. EDT that look at the legacy left by the 84-year-old diplomat, who was often regarded as a paragon of diplomacy. The conversations will explore Albright’s life and legacy.
