  1. Wasn't he just voted into office by wealthy land owners and aswell als the rest rest were . What would actually constitute a first elected president . If Benedict Arnold didn't betray the continental army for personal gain from the British . He would have been first communist president and not GeorgeWashington’s. Mao , Hitler and starlin did the same. Cause a revolt and got their constituents to vote them into office aswell. I think the first actual president of America should at least included the poor vote or slave vote. You know after they weren't considered 20% of a person. At least for the minimum requirement for a first actual president.

  2. OMG ! he was lord fairfax's surveyors helper , not a surveyor. he had no formal education other than the training fairfax gave him in deception . fairfax made him everything . president of the house of burgesses 3 times , a royal major , president of the usa etc… even jefferson said he was a loser after he left office

  3. LMAO ! lord fairfax used washington to enslave the colonies . colonist had more rights under the constitutional monarchy & 1689 bill of rights . the electoral college is a scam invented in 500bc athens . you vote in secret … without receipt … so they can rig the numbers ! "IF" you read the federalist papers 68 … hamilton says they claim moral grounds to pick your masters of their standards & every president is of royal blood ! see washington england ! ? his family crest pledges allegiance to the crown of england and is the flag of washington d.c. ! he lost every battle until baron von steuben took over & the treaty of ghent says we will never raise arms against england . etc… etc… etc…

  4. Ahhhhh yes, the NEW History….all of the women come forward to tell us he was not a brave, or as strong as we thought he was….it was just a myth you see!….I bet they had never tasted the sting of battle, lived outdoors for a cold winter….or been a leader who inspired others.

  5. THE JOINT SENATE COMTE HEARING ON JANUARY 6 PROTESTS ARE EXPOSING THE IGNORANCE, NEGLIGENCE AND POOR RESPONSE BY THE OUR FAILING INSTITUTIONS AND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. AGAIN, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUMP OR TRUMP PROTESTERS. FBI IS ONE BIG LIE!!! PELOSI, SCHUMER ARE INVOLVED IN CREATING THE DISASTER THAT DAY AND THE FBI IS COVERING FOR THEM. WHY DO THEY ALWAYS GET AWAY WITH LIES, MISTAKES AND JUST GET TO SAY OOPS! WE FAILED. WE'LL WORK BETTER ON THAT NEXT TIME!!!!!!! WE NEED NEW LAWS ON KEEPING INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT INSTITUTIONS ACCOUNTABLE!!!!!

  6. Yup Washington fought for this country and Same for his fellow presidents, Now the democrats and so republicans wants to destroy our beautiful country with China..

  7. How can anyone depict history with a purely female view? I mean in today's world women clearly have a tainted view of most subjects.

  8. He cared. Because he lived through tyranny from a King. That is why he was so careful. Unlike some presidents in our lifetime, power mongers. This video was very negative.

  9. His step down after two terms laid the stone for democracy not for US but for the world .if he has stayed like many leader did and go on to become dictator the US would have ruined

  10. What words!
"It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another. "
"It is important, likewise, that the habits of thinking in a free country should inspire caution in those entrusted with its administration, to confine themselves within their respective constitutional spheres, avoiding in the exercise of the powers of one department to encroach upon another. The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism. A just estimate of that love of power, and proneness to abuse it, which predominates in the human heart, is sufficient to satisfy us of the truth of this position. The necessity of reciprocal checks in the exercise of political power, by dividing and distributing it into different depositaries, and constituting each the guardian of the public weal against invasions by the others, has been evinced by experiments ancient and modern; some of them in our country and under our own eyes. To preserve them must be as necessary as to institute them. If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. The precedent must always greatly overbalance in permanent evil any partial or transient benefit, which the use can at any time yield." — George Washington

Now what the efff does Trump has to do with any of this?

  11. So timely right now … Washington showed his greatness by stepping down, even when not required to … another president shows his baseness by refusing to step down, though required to.

  12. i had to use this for school. That class is so boring. Bro, I want to tear out my eyes. I really want to go sky diving without a parachute

  13. I really loved how Nicolas Rowe performed as George Washington. He is the only person who's deserved the role of Washington.

  14. Washington warned us about what he called "faction". In other words, parties.
He believed that the development of parties, of any kind, ought to be fiercely resisted, or the country would devolve into a spiral of constant fingerpointing, division, enmity, and partisanship.

In this, he was a prescient genius. Because this is exactly what happened.
    Look at us today.
    We're at each other's throats : (

  15. I was impressed by the production of quality of this.
So many of these docudramas just suffer from deficient cinematography, attention to detail, etc.., turning the viewer off with a a generally subpar investment.
This is an impressive production, with a good mix of the drama and documentary formats.

  16. interesting how american's praise washington as some hero and honourable man….

did they miss the class in history where they should've learnt about how Washington was simply a Mercenary and was originally going to fight for the british but the british were too cheap and he would get more $$$ from the colonists….awkward moment

  17. The fact that he paid attention to the Constitution and actually thought of it frequently during his term of service should serve notice to today's politicians of its relevance. His greatest act as leader was to trust those under this command and to exit when he was supposed.

  18. I wonder how George Washington felt when he heard King Louis got his head chopped off, knowing France's military help was essential during the American Revolution.

  19. George Washington literally kept our country together. He was one those rare breeds that could of stayed on until he died, but chose not to do so.
