2022 Pennsylvania Trout Fishing

Trout season has been cold and wet so far in 2022, but fishing has still been good for anglers able to adjust to high and off color water conditions. Join us in the Keystone State as we head out on a Saturday to chase rainbows on a stream that hadn’t been stocked in two weeks.

  1. Last time I was in PA in April, it snowed on me and I ended up waiting on a snow plow at the Clarion River landing waiting for an hour to get back up the hill and onto the Interstate. Started in the sun from I-80

  2. I’m a believer! Found the Youtube channel 3 years ago and began trying the new techniques suggested by the crew. Fast forward this year already have went thru 3 jars of Natural Deluxe and counting, the one outing that changed everything was 2 years ago on a native stream in PA landed all 3 species of trout and the only bait they would hit was Red Fireballs. Great content in the videos, I plan on chasing the Gold Rush in WV because of watching Pautzke Baits. BTW need more swag on the website anything planned?
Suggestion: Youghiogheny River outflow anytime and Smithton/West Newton areas on Yough River clubs have been stocking for over 40 years it’s a great story with exceptional fish that are challenging.
Tight Lines to all the “Eggheads”
